“In light of recent reports questioning the safety of BPA, today we are releasing a science policy paper that will provide current and scientifically accurate information and resources that we hope will serve to better educate all stakeholders on the safety of BPA, and the important role it plays in food preservation,” said Robert Brackett, Chief Science Officer for GMA.

In the coming weeks, GMA will also be releasing science policy papers on perchlorate, acrylamide, high fructose corn syrup, aspartame and sodium.
