American Academy of Family Physicians

American College of Nutrition
Site for professional nutritionists. Offers members education credits for nutrition courses and offers a Review Course on the Fundamentals of Nutrition, which provides all health care professionals with the opportunity to renew their familiarity with the fundamental and applied science of the field of nutrition. Site also provides meeting information, certification and access to the Journal of the American College of Nutrition.

American Dietetic Association.
Site from the nation's largest organization of nutrition professionals contains nutrition information such as fact sheets and tips on healthy eating, bibliographies on selected subjects such as diabetes and sports nutrition and link to the Journal of the American Dietetic Association. Site offers nutrition professionals learning opportunities that provide education credits.

American Society for Nutrition.
Site of the research society promoting the science of nutrition. Publishes The Journal of Nutrition and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. In 2005, the American Society for Clinical Nutrition, the American Society for Nutritional Sciences (formerly the American Institute for Nutrition) and the Society for International Nutrition merged to form the American Society for Nutrition.

American College of Sports Medicine.

Association of Nutrition Departments and Programs.
National association of directors of college and university nutrition departments and programs offers graduate degree programs in nutrition or postgraduate training programs in nutrition in the United States. American Beverage Association.
Site provides the national School Beverage Guidelines developed by the association in collaboration with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation (American Heart Association partnership with the Clinton Foundation). Calorie Control Council.
